After weeks of rumors and speculation, Aaron Rodgers has officially commented on his NFL situation moving forward.
In a recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers made it clear that he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023.
It appears that the Jets are on board.
At this point, the only thing holding up this deal is the Green Bay Packers, who have recently revealed their asking price for Rodgers.
As Mike Florio has recently reported, the Packers minimally want a first-rounder and more for him.

After this news was released, many fans took to Twitter to relay their thoughts on the situation.
As one fan indicates, the Packers have all of the leverage in this situation.
They should hold out for two first rounders and possibly future, later-round picks. Jets aren’t going to NOT bring in Rodgers now.

If the Jets are all-in on Rodgers, this fan believes that the Packers should cash in, getting at least two first-round picks from them in return.
Rodgers is likely to be inducted into the Hall of Fame when his career is done.

One fan believes that this is a desperation move for the Jets, considering that Rodgers is nearing 40.
However, with a playoff drought that is the longest in NFL history, the Jets might do whatever it takes to dig themselves out of this hole.

If the two sides are unable to come to an equitable trade solution, Rodgers could find himself back on the Packers in 2023.
