Live, from New York it’s…Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce?
The best tight end in the game is walking on the clouds right now.
The younger Kelce brother is fresh off winning his second Super Bowl in three tries, cementing himself as one of the all-time greats already.
But if his success on the gridiron wasn’t enough, he’s now taking his talents to the entertainment business, just like so many other NFL legends before him.
The Chiefs tight end made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, announcing that he’s going to host Saturday Night Live on March 4, with musical guest Kelsea Ballerini.
Kelce raved about how much of an SNL fan he was growing up, praising some of the comedy legends that made millions of people laugh with their skits.
He talked about how honored and privileged he is to get the nod to host SNL, a show he used to watch with his beloved mother, Donna:
“Growing up, I was a huge [Chris] Farley, [Will] Ferrell, [Jimmy] Fallon, kind of guy growing up,” Kelce said. “I used to watch Saturday Night Live with my mother. It’s an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting SNL March 4th.”

The superstar TE recently opened up on how excited he felt after winning Super Bowl LVII against his older brother, Jason, stating that this time meant way more for him.
He felt like rival fans disrespected the Chiefs, and he wanted to remind everyone that they’re still the team to beat in the league until proven otherwise.
Moreover, he’ll join the likes of former NFL legends like Peyton Manning, Fran Tarkenton, and Walter Payton, among many others who have hosted one of the most popular comedy shows in the world.
