CJ Stroud’s name has been on the radar of many NFL teams after a dominant year at Ohio State.
Stroud is currently at the NFL Combine and has interviewed with a few teams ahead of the scheduled physical tests later on in the weekend.
This week, Stroud met with the Houston Texans, and while speaking to the media he said: “I felt like I did good in the interview process with them.”

Stroud also commented that he is: “Looking forward to going deeper and deeper to build a relationship with them.”
The Texans have the second overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and are certainly in the market for a quarterback.
In the last three seasons, the Texans have a combined record of 11-38-1.
A player of Stroud’s caliber could be a big boost to this organization, especially after Deshaun Watson’s departure.
Along with the second overall pick, the Texans have the 12th and 33rd picks as well.
If the Texans do end up taking Stroud or another quarterback in this draft, they could pair him with a high-caliber receiver as well.
This draft class has been highly regarded and deeply, providing plenty of value for potential suitors.
A few young players can be a difference-maker in turning a team around.
Take the Jacksonville Jaguars, for instance.
Between Trevor Lawrence and a new coaching staff, the Jaguars went from a 3-14 record in 2021 to a 9-8 record in 2022.
Will the Texans be able to make a similar leap in the standings if they draft Stroud?
