The New York Giants finished the 2022 regular season with a 9-7-1 record, which allowed them to make the playoffs.

This was largely due to the improved play of Daniel Jones, which earned him a contract extension with the Giants.

Looking ahead to the 2023 season, the Giants have made several moves in the offseason, including their addition of Darren Waller.

While Waller should be a key contributor moving forward, the Giants are likely on the search for at least one more receiving weapon.

Ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, the Giants are bringing in a projected first-round receiving prospect, per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

By bringing in Jalin Hyatt for a visit, the Giants can fully vet him before the draft, seeing if he would be a good fit on their team.

During his final season at Tennessee, Hyatt had 67 receptions, 1,267 yards, and 15 touchdowns.

If he can re-create a similar production in the NFL, Hyatt would be an instant impact on this Giants offense that is in desperate need of a spark.

Currently, the Giants’ receiver room is led by Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, and Wan’Dale Robinson.

While Slayton and Shepard have both been impactful for this roster, they haven’t necessarily been the star-power that the Giants have been looking for.

At the combine, Hyatt ran a 4.4 40-yard dash and posted a 40-inch vertical, which were both top-six among the other receivers at this event.

Will the Giants take a swing at him, provided he is available when they pick at 25th overall?
