The 2023 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and it has been highly anticipated for the last several weeks.
There are several top quarterback prospects, each looking to make a name for themselves as a franchise quarterback.
While the projected draft order of these prospects has been heavily debated, it appears that a new number-one candidate has emerged.
Recently, Mel Kiper has vaulted CJ Stroud to the top of the draft board, pushing Bryce Young to the number two spot.

Young’s size has been a common cause for concern, which might be great news for Stroud heading into April.
After Kiper made this switch, many fans around the league reacted, making their opinions heard.
One fan was skeptical about Kiper’s pick, citing that he is often incorrect in his predictions.

Whether this prediction will come to fruition remains to be seen.
However, Kiper is well-connected within the NFL and could have insider intel as to what the Carolina Panthers are thinking.

If this were to happen, it would be the first time in NFL history that four quarterbacks would be drafted in the first five picks.
There were five quarterbacks taken in the first 15 picks in the 2021 draft, the most in recent history.
