The Kansas City Chiefs won the 2022 Super Bowl in a hard-fought game.

This was due to a strong performance by Patrick Mahomes, along with a dominant showing from their defense.

After this victory, Doug Pederson, former coach of the Eagles, had something to say about one of the Chiefs’ plays.

According to James Palmer of the NFL Network, Pederson texted Andy Reid, citing that Reid recycled one of his old plays, which resulted in a Chiefs touchdown.

After Pederson pointed this out to Reid, he also congratulated the Chiefs’ efforts, per Palmer’s report.

This first play that Reid “stole” was a motion to Kadarius Toney, who ended up walking into the endzone untouched.

The second play was drawn up for Skyy Moore, who hadn’t caught a touchdown pass all season.

He, like Toney, had plenty of room to work with, walking into the endzone for an easy score.

This was the biggest play of Moore’s rookie season after not seeing much playing time throughout the year.

However it happened, the Chiefs were able to pull out this victory over the Eagles, even if their plays were reused.

These two touchdowns came from unlikely contributors for the Chiefs, as Toney and Moore were unsuspecting targets.

Patrick Mahomes tended to target his running backs, along with Travis Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

In the biggest moments of the Super Bowl, however, he and the coaching staff trusted Moore and Toney to run these routes.
