The Kansas City Chiefs continue to be the team to beat in the NFL in the Patrick Mahomes era, with Andy Reid and company winning another Super Bowl, adding to what may soon be considered a dynasty.

Despite the Chiefs being the cream of the crop in the league, Kansas City lost some valuable pieces to the championship puzzle in free agency, namely Juju Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman.

With the wide receiver position being an area of need again during the NFL offseason, the team appears to be doing its due diligence in finding players to fill the void, with Allen Robinson of the Los Angeles Rams potentially being a trade target.

Ever since Robinson was traded to the Rams by the Chicago Bears, the one-time Pro Bowler has struggled to make the impact that Los Angeles expected, as he’s coming off a disappointing first season with the Rams.

In 10 games played with the Rams, Robinson caught 33 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns.

Obviously, on a team that aspires to defend its Super Bowl title, the trade for Robinson looks like a bust, as he has become a player the team might not mind moving on from before next season.

The Chiefs might be the ideal team for Robinson, as Kansas City has been able to resurrect careers with Mahomes under center.

Kansas City could also look to the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, with plenty of talent at the wide receiver position, but the defending Super Bowl champions would likely prefer veteran talent like Robinson over a rookie that might need a few years to come into their own.
