The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look significantly different during the 2023 season than they have looked over the last few years.
Of course, quarterback Tom Brady has retired (again), and the team has decided to take a flyer on Baker Mayfield, who will replace Brady under center and get one more chance to resurrect what once looked like a promising career.
Running back Leonard Fournette has been released, and Chase Edmonds, who spent the second half of last season with the Miami Dolphins, will take his place in the backfield.
The Bucs have also parted ways with veteran kicker Ryan Succop, who spent his last three years with them.

Succop started his pro career as the last player taken in the 2009 NFL Draft.
However, he made a stellar 86.2 percent of his field goal attempts during his rookie season, which tied the league record for best field-goal accuracy by a rookie.
He spent his first five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, and during that entire span, he did not miss a single extra-point attempt.
Succop joined the Tennessee Titans for the 2014 campaign, where he again went perfect on extra-point kicks while converting 86.4 percent of his field goal tries.
Two years later, he established his career high field-goal accuracy of 91.7 percent.
In his first season in Tampa Bay, Succop got himself a Super Bowl ring, making him the first “Mr. Irrelevant” to do so or to even appear in a Super Bowl.
Last season the 36-year-old converted 81.6 percent of his field goal attempts.
