The 2023 edition of the hit video game MLB The Show will be released on Tuesday of the next week.
However, fans who preordered the game can get early access on Friday.
This year’s version of the game features Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the cover, with the “Captain Edition” featuring New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter.
On Thursday, the Twitter account for the new MLB game posted a video of Chisholm and Jeter coming together to discuss some of the game’s new features.

Certain players have been added to the game that have been retired for quite some time.
Jeter started things off by introducing New York Mets legend and former captain David Wright.
The Yankees legend says that when people talk about the Mets organization, Wright is one of the first players that should come to mind.
Jeter praised him for his hard work and professionalism and was able to attest to how many Mets fans respect him.
Chisholm chimed in and talked about Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa being added to the game.
As fans with passing knowledge of baseball know, McGwire and Sosa engaged in a heated race for the all-time single-season home run record in 1998.
Sosa was with the Chicago Cubs, while McGwire was playing with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Chisholm was asked who he would choose between the two of them, and said that he would personally choose Sosa.
Finally, Jeter introduced himself as one of the new legends players added to the game, jokingly saying that they should have added him much sooner.
