It’s been a while since the Pittsburgh Steelers were the ruling force in the league, but they still have one of the best coaches in the game.
Mike Tomlin has proven to be a bonafide winner, an elite tactician, and a guy who’ll always find ways to get wins out of the mud, even if he’s an underdog.
But more than that, Coach Tomlin has proven to be an elite motivator, and that skill was again on full display in a video shared by the Steelers’ Twitter account, with Tomlin giving his players a heartfelt talk.

Tomlin wants the players to know that they need to be better every single day and not just say it like a cliché.
He let them know that those things that made them great and viable one year won’t do the trick again next season, so the expectation from the team is that they’re constantly looking for ways to develop, evolve, and be more knowledgeable about the game of football.
He also stated that he doesn’t want the players to care about the outside noise or even their teammates, citing that this highly competitive line of work is a battle of a man against himself, constantly grinding to be better.
Tomlin let everybody know that he’s going to have less tolerance with mistakes every year, as the expectation is that players will be able to identify those mistakes and leave them in the past.
That’s the kind of coach all players would run through a wall for, and a guy who’s most definitely built a winning culture.
