The Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat in the NFL once again, with superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and veteran head coach Andy Reid winning a second Super Bowl title back in February with a win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

As a result of winning it all for the second time in the Mahomes-Reid era in Kansas City, the Chiefs have traveled to the White House in Washington DC, to meet with President Joe Biden and his staff.

Back in 2020, the Chiefs were able to get the best of the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl but could not go to the White House because of the restrictions put on by the pandemic.

With the pandemic now behind us with things starting to get back to normal in this country and the world for that matter, the Chiefs were able to make up for that lost visit and landed in the nation’s capital on Monday, as Mahomes documented via Sunday Night Football on NBC.

If Mahomes and company can continue their dominance in the NFL, this could be one of many visits to the White House in the years to come and something the team could start to get used to, like the Golden State Warriors of the NBA.

Heading into the 2023 NFL season, the Chiefs will be expected to be a force to be recognized with once again in the AFC, with Mahomes back healthy and superstar tight end Travis Kelce looking to have another incredible season in Kansas City.
