Conversations about the best player of all time in professional sports are ongoing, with no definitive list for any sport, position, or basically anything because it is a debate that has no end.

One of, if not the best wide receiver in the NFL today, Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, recently put in his two cents when asked who he believes are the five best running backs of all time.

Hill, who is as outspoken as any player in the NFL today, came up with a list of some interesting names, with only two active players making the cut for the all-time five greatest backs in league history.

Those active players are Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans and future Hall of Famer Adrian Peterson, who is currently without a team, but has yet to announce his retirement from football.

According to what Hill said on the Cheetah Podcast via PFF, the rest of the list is as follows.

Gale Sayers, Eric Dickerson, and Barry Sanders are not a bad way to round out the list, as many fans, pundits, and current and former players likely have some of those names on their lists.

Regarding the greatest of all time at the running back position, Sanders is likely mentioned more often than not, even though he never won a Super Bowl and played for the lowly Detroit Lions his whole career.

Other notable running backs often mentioned in this debate include Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Marcus Allen, Bo Jackson, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Earl Campbell.
