There’s a bit of a rivalry brewing between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals.
The teams have gone back and forth in the past two AFC Championship Games, and even the Cincinnati Mayor chimed in on the trash-talking last season by talking about “Burrowhead Stadium.”
Still, Joe Burrow had no problem admitting that Patrick Mahomes is currently in a league of his own, calling him the best quarterback in the game right now.
That didn’t sit well with his teammate Ja’Marr Chase, who responded, “Pat who?”
Now, Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce shared his thoughts on Chase’s comments, warning the LSU product about poking the bear and disrespecting the best QB in the game.

“I thought it was a little bold,” Kelce said, via NFL.com. “(Mahomes is) a two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. To say ‘Pat who’ is like…”
Kelce believes it was “a little bold” of Chase and admitted that Mahomes took offense to the comments, and you never want to be on Mahomes’ list.
Pat is usually a humble, down-to-earth kind of guy who lets his game do all the talking for him.
And even though the Bengals have had some success and mixed results against him lately, he still owns bragging rights over them until further notice.
Chase is a competitor and will always handle himself as such.
But perhaps he should know better than to diss the guy that sent him home packing last season, especially if even your very own quarterback has no issue admitting that he’s currently the best at what he does.
