The Baltimore Ravens made a big gamble this offseason.
They made it clear that money was not an issue when they outbid all bidders for Odell Beckham Jr.’s services, signing a deal far more lucrative than most people would have thought.
Beckham is obviously one of the best wide receivers in the game, but there were a lot of concerns about his health after suffering so many major injuries throughout his career.
However, judging by a now-viral video shared by the Ravens’ Twitter account, it appears the former Pro-Bowler is doing fine.
“I like that kind of stuff…only from him!”

The footage shows OBJ doing his one-handed catches again, and while it’s just practice, the fact that he’s back to sprinting and jumping is a great indicator of his health.
In particular, the Ravens had often not given Lamar Jackson enough weapons in the passing game, and committing so much money to Beckham was a good faith gesture amid contract negotiations with his franchise quarterback.
Their offense will look quite different under a new offensive coordinator, and rookie Zay Flowers is also expected to make an immediate impact.
The Ravens will most likely transition from that run-laden offense to one that’s more dynamic and versatile, and a healthy OBJ could be just what they need to get over the hurdle.
On the other hand, injuries will always be a concern for this team, especially since Jackson was unable to finish the last two seasons with various ailments.
