The San Francisco 49ers are one of the favorites to win next season’s Super Bowl, and they look absolutely stacked on both sides of the ball.
Many fans and analysts focus on his defense, which was the best in the NFL in 2022 and could be even better this fall and winter thanks to the addition of defensive tackle Javon Hargrave.
But their offense isn’t bad either, and a big reason is wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
Samuel has a penchant for big-yardage plays that result in touchdowns, and the NFL posted a video on his official Twitter account that reminded everyone of his unique talent.

Samuel was the 36th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and the first signs he might be special came in his rookie season when he had 802 receiving yards and a total of six scrimmage touchdowns.
The 49ers made it all the way to the Super Bowl that year, only to lose a late lead and lose to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2021, Samuel amassed 1,405 receiving yards and led all with 18.2 receiving yards, earning him Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team honors.
What makes Samuel even more special is his ability to line up in the backfield and pose as a running back, something coach Kyle Shanahan has made him do more regularly the past two seasons.
For San Francisco to win it all, they’ll need Samuel to be more productive than he was in 2022, when he dropped to 632 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, but he certainly has the ability to top 1,000 receiving yards again in 2023.
