The Masked Singer season nine movie night episode premiered this week. Costumed celebrities performed iconic songs from hit Warner Brothers hit movies.
Two new singers Dandelion and Mantis joined the competition to try and oust the Doll. There were terrific performances, big clues and more reveals at the end. Here is a recap of the epic theme night for those who missed it.
Movie Night
Doll
Doll gave another good performance this week as he tried to hold onto his spot. He sounds like a rock singer with a deep voice. The panelists think he is a lead singer from the 80s hair metal band. His clues about him referenced that he has platinum records and is an actor in horror movies.
Clues: lollipop, dollhouse, box, playbill, records, and hairspray.
Popular Guesses: Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach
Dandelion
Dandelion made her debut performance singing a beloved classic song. A challenging song for anyone but she nailed it. She has a beautiful voice and a lot of stage presence. The panelists think she is a pop singer from the 80s or 90s. Her clues from her referenced that she has successful songs on the Billboard charts.
Clues: keyboard, Nashville, child star, tornadoes, and cowboy boots.
Guesses: Tamron Hall, Vanessa Williams
Mantis
Mantis gave viewers a show with his performance this week. He is a showman who has a nice Broadway-sounding voice. The panelists think that he could be a famous actor who can sing. Also, his clues from him referenced that he is acted in an autobiography about someone famous.
Clues: cellphone, guitar, dog, Broadway, poker chips, and novel

Movie Night Reveals
Another night of huge reveals followed a competitive battle royale. The Doll was eliminated and revealed as singer Dee Snider from the hair metal band Twisted Sister. This week the panelists decided to use their last save on the Mantis.
