The New York Jets have been one of the most aggressive teams during the NFL offseason.
They have added several new players to their roster, including Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman, and most recently, Quinton Jefferson.
Aaron Rodgers is slated to join the Jets as well, but his trade details have not yet been finalized.
Assuming that Rodgers does join this team, many analysts and fans have pointed to the Jets as a team to watch, citing that they could make a deep playoff run.
After Jefferson was signed, he shared a similar sentiment, saying “I think we are about to take over the division,” by NFL insider Josina Anderson.
On the phone with new #Jets D. L. Quinton Jefferson on why he signed. “It is a great opportunity to showcase my skillset and to get back into a defense that has an attacking front. I think the sky is the limit with that group. I think we are about to take over the division..”[Cont]

The Jets’ defensive unit was one of the best in the league in 2022 and only appeared to be getting stronger by adding Jefferson.
Jefferson is a seven-year NFL veteran and will look to bring his experience to this team.
Last season, the Jets finished last in the AFC East with a 7-10 record, a division that has grown significantly over the past several seasons.
The Buffalo Bills are led by Josh Allen and have continued to grow their team around him in order to compete with the best teams in the AFC.
Led by strong defenses, the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins will not go down without a fight, leaving the Jets in a difficult spot.
The Jets haven’t made the playoffs in 12 years, and the fanbase is desperate for a postseason appearance.
Will the Jets truly be able to make a splash in their division?
