The World Baseball Classic, organized by MLB, is already underway.
The Netherlands and Japan are topping Pools A and B, respectively, with a perfect 2-0 record as of Friday afternoon.
Team USA will open their participation on Saturday against Great Britain, as part of Pool C.
The game will take place at Chase Field, at 7:00 pm (local time).
St. Louis Cardinals veteran Adam Wainwright will be the starter.
Mark DeRosa, currently the manager of Team USA, is making sure to put his players in the best possible position to win.
Motivation and mental strength are just as important as talent, training, and pregame routines, so DeRosa is covering every possible angle.
“Team USA manager Mark DeRosa brought in mental skills coach Chad Bohling to meet with his team today. Checking off all boxes before Game 1 on Saturday,” MLB insider Jesse Rogers tweeted.

Bohling has worked with some of the biggest teams in American sports, in several leagues.
He is known for his work with the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees, for example.
There are numerous exercises, drills, and things a mental skills coach like Bohling can do to help a team.
He is very good at giving people the tools to manage and deal with certain situations regarding winning and losing.
He did for the Cowboys at one point.
Managing expectations is something that Team USA will need to do appropriately: they are expected to win the tournament because of their star-studded roster.
They are under pressure from fans and media, and that’s something they need some help dealing with.
Bohling can surely help.
