The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL on the defensive side of football over the past few years, with Nick Bosa leading the way for the storied franchise.

Although the team gets a lot of credit for its play on defense, the offense might be just as good, with some of the league’s best players on the roster helping this squad become an incredibly well-rounded team.

With Christian McCaffrey now in the fold, the 49ers are as tough as any team in the league to contain and will likely be even better during the 2023 NFL season, with the star running back getting comfortable in his new surroundings.

Warren Sharp of The Ringer recently pointed out one indication of the team’s offensive firepower last season, as he listed the teams in the league with the most offensive plays that gained 30 or more yards during the 2023 campaign.

Perhaps the most impressive part of this stat is that the 49ers are ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs, who have had the league’s best offense for quite some time now.

The real question will be whether San Francisco can keep up their solid play on offense next season, as second-year quarterback Brock Purdy will be put to the test as the starter right out of the gate if he’s healthy enough to do so.

With McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle, Purdy will have the weapons he needs to succeed again and potentially enough for the 49ers to go the distance.
