The last 12 months for the Las Vegas Raiders haven’t exactly been ideal.

Sure, the team was able to land Davante Adams in the 2022 offseason, but they ended the season with a 6-11 record.

Not to mention, Derek Carr is now seeking employment elsewhere, leaving a giant hole in their quarterback room.

However, there were a few bright spots on this roster last year, which included Maxx Crosby’s defensive brilliance.

In the past two seasons, Crosby has dominated in the fourth quarter, and in overtime.

His 41 pressures during that time are the most in the league, and by a long-shot, at that.

In fact, the next closest player had 28 pressures, meaning that Crosby had 13 more than the second-best player in this statistic.

Crosby has been an invaluable member of the Raiders defense, and the team recently paid him accordingly.

He was signed to a four-year, $94 million contract with the Raiders, tying him to the team until 2026.

The Raiders have quite a bit of rebuilding to do, but it is evident that the Raiders want Crosby to be a part of this rebuild.

Crosby’s current defensive counterpart is Chandler Jones, who was dominant in his own right this season as well.

However, it takes more than two superstars on defense to make a significant impact in the NFL.

What additional moves will the Raiders make in the offseason to bolster their roster, particularly, their defensive unit?

Jones and Crosby can’t bear the weight of the entire defense, especially considering their weak secondary.
