Rudy Gobert will not travel with the Minnesota Timberwolves and will miss the game of the play-in this Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers after being sanctioned with a game by the organization, as reported by the journalist from ESPNAdrian Wojnarowski.
The franchise decided to suspend the French international with one game after reviewing his altercation with Kyle Anderson during a timeout this Sunday in the last game of the regular season against the New Orleans Pelicans. Gobert hit his partner after a verbal exchange between the two. After that he did not play another minute and was sent home.
Gobert is expected to return for the next game after serving his suspension, either in the second game of play-inin case of losing to the Lakers, or coinciding with the first game of the first-round playoff series, if they achieve fast-track qualification.
