Many NFL players have grown up playing different sports.
We have even seen some college basketball stars transfer their skills to football like Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham.
One position that seems to fit the best for former basketball players is tight end.
They have the size and physicality to be able to block and catch passes.
Legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski thinks he could have some success in an NBA game.
He went on the Up & Adams show and discussed how he thinks he could score five points in a game.
.@RobGronkowski thinks he could definitely score 5 points in an NBA game… he just is going to need 32 minutes to do so 😂

While Gronk’s basketball ability is unknown, he does have the size to be an NBA player.
This conversation was sparked when former NBA player Chandler Parsons said Travis Kelce could not score five points in an NBA game.
Kelce is similar to Gronk in that they are both physical freaks and very athletic for this size.
In most NBA games, if you are on the floor long enough, you are bound to score.
Gronk had the smart idea of saying he would “cherry-pick” the whole game and get a bunch of easy layups.
Due to his size, five points in 32 minutes should not be that difficult.
Especially because there is not much defense being played in the NBA.
It would be fun to see Gronk on a basketball court.
Due to the correlation between basketball players and NFL tight ends, you would think he could have some success on the hardwood.
