Opening Day is right around the corner.
In fact, we are just 48 days away from kicking off the 2023 season.
Several teams had big offseasons and have fans anxiously waiting to see some of their new acquisitions in action.
For the Texas Rangers, it was an eventful offseason.
The team signed Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, and Andrew Heaney to bolster their starting rotation and also acquired Jake Odorizzi from the Atlanta Braves.
deGrom was obviously the biggest move made by the Rangers.
On Twitter, the Rangers posted a picture of him photoshopped in a Texas uniform with his signature No. 48 to count down the days before Opening Day.

Rangers fans are certainly excited to see their new ace in action.
With the additions of deGrom and the other starting pitchers, Texas now has a top-tier rotation and several big arms to go alongside left-hander Martin Perez.
The team won just 68 games during the regular season in 2022, missing the postseason.
But with deGrom heading up the rotation, things may be quite a bit different for the Rangers in 2023.
They were one of the more active teams in free agency, and soon it will be time to see if the additions will pay off for them.
Either way, Opening Day is getting close.
March 30 is the day that teams will play their first games of the season.
The Rangers themselves will open up the season at home against the defending National League champion Philadelphia Phillies and will likely have deGrom pitching in that game, somebody who the Phillies are quite familiar with.
