The NFL is filled with notable alumni from colleges and universities across the United States.

Although some schools are more notable for producing professional talent than others, Ohio State University has provided some of the best NFL-ready players in the last several years.

That was on full display during the NFL Honors ceremony last night, where two of their notable alumni took home some awards.

Garrett Wilson won the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, and Nick Bosa took home the Defensive Player of the Year award.

When looking ahead to the 2023 NFL Draft, the Buckeyes will have several talented individuals that will likely be taken in the first round.

Jackson Smith-Njigba is one of their highest-rated wide receivers in the past several seasons.

In the 2021 season alone, Smith-Njigba had 95 receptions for 1,606 yards and nine touchdowns.

He was dominant alongside Wilson, giving the Buckeyes one of the best offenses in the country in 2021.

Their quarterback, CJ Stroud, has also been highly touted ahead of the 2023 draft.

Pending an injury, Stroud is expected to be a top-five draft pick, given that many teams across the league are quarterback-needy.

In his two years as Ohio State’s starter, Stroud amassed 8,123 yards, 85 touchdowns, and only 12 interceptions.

He completed 69.3 percent of his passes, a great indicator of success in the NFL.

Will either Smith-Njigba or Stroud win the Offensive Rookie of the Year next season, giving the Buckeyes back-to-back award winners?

Either way, the upcoming draft is loaded with talent, and teams are chomping at the bit to add these exciting prospects to their rosters.
