The Kansas City Chiefs are eleven again on top of the NFL world.
After an impressive 38-35 victory in Super Bowl 57, the Chiefs have now won two Super Bowls in four seasons.
If you are looking for a reason as to why they are so good every season, look no further than their quarterback.
Patrick Mahomes continues to build a resume that puts him up with the all-time greats.
At just 27 years old, Mahomes has already won two Super Bowls, and two league MVPs.
Every season he is on the field, the Chiefs will remain one of the Super Bowl favorites.
But, this past stretch was not the easiest for Mahomes.
He suffered a high ankle sprain against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional round.
Which limited his mobility for the rest of the AFC playoffs.
Then in the Super Bowl, he reaggravated that injury and was in serious pain on the field.
Despite the injury, Mahomes is not concerned about it being a long-term issue this offseason.

It was impressive that Mahomes was able to play so well in the second half of the Super Bowl despite the injury.
Trailing by 10 points at the half, the Chiefs knew this game was going to be a shootout.
Kansas City had four drives in the second half, they scored touchdowns on three of them.
The last one set them up for the game-winning field goal with only six seconds left.
For Mahomes to play that well while injured does not bode well for the rest of the league.
He will come back fully healthy next season and once again be the favorite to win the Super Bowl.
