The Kansas City Chiefs are less than two weeks removed from winning the Super Bowl.
For many players, the offseason is a time for rest and relaxation, especially if they are Super Bowl champions.
However, Patrick Mahomes isn’t like most players.

Mahomes posted a photo from his most recent training exercises.
For the two-time league and Super Bowl MVP, the grind never stops.
Mahomes was battling ankle injuries throughout much of the 2022 season.
As evidenced by these photos, Mahomes is continuing to better himself and his body and doing everything he can to get stronger.
The NFL Draft is slightly over two months away, and training camp doesn’t begin until July, but Mahomes continues to hone his skills and looks to only improve next season.
The Chiefs were the NFL’s number-one scoring offense this year, which was largely due to Mahomes’ abilities.
Whether they will be able to replicate this success next year will be largely determined by the health of Mahomes’ ankle.
If his willingness to play with this injury throughout the playoffs and Super Bowl are any indication, the Chiefs should be just fine moving forward, even if this injury has a few lingering effects.
Mahomes has been seen as the face of the Chiefs franchise since he began starting for them in 2018.
This team has found immense success under him, evidenced by their three Super Bowl appearances in the past five seasons.
Will the Chiefs be able to climb the mountain again in 2023, knowing the difficulty of the AFC?
