The Aaron Rodgers era is officially over for the Green Bay Packers.
While the Packers have remained bullish on Jordan Love, the departure of a league MVP at the quarterback position could present a number of challenges.
In a recent appearance on Good Morning Football, Elgton Jenkins described his feelings about Rodgers leaving.
“He’s going to be missed in the locker room,” Jenkins said.

Jenkins is a four-year NFL veteran who spent his entire career with Rodgers as his quarterback.
At guard, Jenkins spent a lot of time with Rodgers, working together with the rest of the offensive line to protect Rodgers at all costs.
While he and the rest of the team will surely miss playing with Rodgers, Jenkins also detailed his feelings about Love.
Speaking of Love, Jenkins said: “We know he’s a good player and he’s ready to play on Sunday or whenever we play.”
After all, the Packers traded in the first round to draft Love.
The organization believed that Love had what it took to lead a storied franchise, and now he has some huge shoes to fill.
If Jenkins’ comments are any indication, Love is ready.
“I’ve seen a lot of great things from Jordan, a lot of leadership, he stood out a lot as a leader,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins highly praised Love’s leadership.
However, it remains to be seen if he is able to live up to the hype.
Love will continue to work hard throughout the offseason and training camp, hoping to do the right thing for this storied organization.
