The Green Bay Packers organization is likely to look significantly different in 2023 than they have in years past.

Pending an unlikely change of events, Jordan Love is slated to be their starting quarterback moving forward, ending the Aaron Rodgers era.

After an 8-9 season in 2022, the Packers are likely to make a few changes to their roster to best compete with their NFC counterparts.

Matt LaFleur has recently pointed to the wide receiver room as an area for change.

Last season, two of the Packers’ top three target-getters were rookies, at least, at the wide receiver position.

Aaron Jones had the second-most targets on the team, and Robert Tonyan was tied for fourth.

However, Romeo Doubs had 67 targets and Christian Watson had 66.

Doubs and Watson were in their rookie campaigns.

While they both showed promise when given the opportunity in 2022, LaFleur appears to be looking for a more veteran presence in their receiving room, especially since Allen Lazard is now a member of the New York Jets.

In Kevin Patra’s above article shared in the tweet, he points out that all five receivers that are currently on the Packers roster have 14 or fewer games of NFL experience.

Several free-agent receivers remain on the market.

However, the Packers haven’t shown a propensity to go after top free-agent talents at the receiver position, and haven’t recently used first-round capital on a wide receiver.

With several young receivers on the Packers, who will the team decide to pursue in the coming weeks?
