Daniel Snyder’s controversial time as the owner of the Washington Commanders may be coming to an end, as it was reported that he was planning to sell the team.

There is some doubt that it will actually happen, but Jeff Bezos, the former president and CEO of Amazon, has reportedly had some interest in buying the Commanders.

On the other hand, if a deal cannot be consummated with Snyder, Bezos could simply try to buy the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL reporter Albert Breer.

Bezos founded Amazon back in 1994 as primarily an online bookstore, but it would grow into the internet’s preeminent online retailer within several years.

Thanks to the growth of the company, he was considered the richest man in the world not too long ago, which would certainly give him the ability to not only purchase an NFL team but to go the extra mile to make it into a Super Bowl champion. .

The Seahawks were thought to be starting a rebuilding process after they traded franchise quarterback Russell Wilson last offseason, but instead, they surprised almost everybody by putting forth a solid 2022 season.

They started 6-3 and finished with a 9-8 record, which got them a wild-card playoff spot in the NFC.

Geno Smith, who had been thought of as merely a career backup quarterback to that point, led the NFL in completion rate at 69.8 percent while posting 4,282 yards and 30 touchdown passes.

His performance earned him the Comeback Player of the Year award while giving Seattle a reliable signal-caller moving forward.
