On Thursday night, the Philadelphia Eagles looked to remain undefeated against the 1-5-1 Houston Texans.

They had to huff and puff a bit, but they improved to 8-0 with a 29-17 win over Houston.

Philly fans took to Twitter to express how pleased they are with the Eagles’ still-perfect season.

This fan hates the fact the Philadelphia Phillies lost Game 5 of the World Series to fall behind 3-2 to the Houston Astros, but is grateful for how high the Eagles are flying.

The one possible blemish on Philly’s record is a perception that it hasn’t played enough tough opponents, but this fan pushed back on that narrative.

This Eagles fan lives in the Houston area, and he was pleased to see so many Eagles fans at NRG Stadium.

This man is happy Philly won, but he knows the team still has more to prove moving forward.

Philly Is Certainly Taking Care Of Business – Will It Continue?

Early on, the Eagles were a bit sluggish, as they fell behind 7-0 and only managed a 14-14 tie at halftime.

But they scored the next two touchdowns to take control with a 29-17 lead, and Houston had almost nothing left at that point.

Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts was excellent, going 21 of 27 and throwing two touchdown passes and zero interceptions.

Tight end Dallas Goedert had 100 receiving yards while scoring the touchdown that put the game out of reach.

The Eagles will not face a team that is currently over .500 until Week 13 when they host Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans.

Their biggest showdown of the year could be on Christmas Eve when they will take on the Dallas Cowboys, who are 6-2 right now.
