One of the NFL’s top storylines this offseason was where Aaron Rodgers would end up.
After a long offseason of discussions and wondering what Rodgers would do, he has finally clarified it all.
Rodgers went on the Pat McAfee Show to discuss his future in the NFL and many other topics.
He made it clear that he wants to continue playing in 2023, and he wants to be a part of the New York Jets.
The Green Bay Packers and the Jets still need to get a deal done involving Rodgers.
But you can expect that to happen at some point in the coming days.
Another topic Rodgers discussed on the show was the darkness retreat that he went on.
He mentioned how when he went into the retreat, he was 90% going to retire.

Once he came out of the darkness and found out Green Bay was ready to move on, it almost motivated Rodgers to continue playing.
He might feel as if the Packers don’t think he can play anymore, and he wants to show them that he can.
He got the chip for his shoulder that he needed to continue. It’s how he’s wired.

The Jets have been interested in Rodgers from the very start, but it remains to be seen how much longer he wants to play.
Many fans are frustrated with how long this process has taken.
It’s like he thinks this decision is world-altering. Do the thing or don’t, we’ll all move regardless.

It seems as if Rodgers thought that the Packers would wait for him to decide.
But they were not willing to wait any longer.
Maybe because you went into a darkness retreat… just a thought

Rodgers has apparently loved to turn his offseasons into a big show.
He was once again able to do that this season.
Sounds like he knew he was going to the jets months ago. He just wants to take us on a little ride first

Once this deal goes down, the Jets will be must-watch TV next season.
