The 2023 NFL offseason has been a whirlwind, to say the least.

The rumor mill has run rampant, and many players have joined a new team in hopes of hoisting the Super Bowl trophy at the end of the next season.

In a recent episode of Get Up, ESPN insider, Chris Canty, outlined his top five offseason winners thus far.

Canty’s winners are the New York Jets, Chicago Bears, Russell Wilson, Derek Carr, and Frank Reich.

Let’s start with Reich.

After just five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Reich was fired as their head coach.

However, Reich was quickly named the Carolina Panthers head coach, who now holds the number one overall pick in April’s draft.

This trade was with the Bears, who were another one of Cantay’s top five winners.

The Bears received a massive haul for the number one overall pick, and have also signed several other high-caliber free agents.

Under Justin Fields’ leadership in his third NFL season, the Bears will look to find heightened success next season.

Wilson has also been named as a winner of the offseason, mainly regarding his new coach.

The Denver Broncos hired Sean Payton as their coach, with hopes that he’ll turn the organization around after their unfortunate 2022 campaign.

Finally, there is Carr.

Carr has joined the New Orleans Saints as their newest quarterback on the heels of his sour ending with the Las Vegas Raiders.

All of these five entities have been named as offseason winners.

Whose great offseason will result in sustained success during the regular season and playoffs?
