The Philadelphia Eagles are set to play in their second Super Bowl in six seasons.

They are doing so with a different head coach and quarterback than we saw in 17-18.

One reason for their continued success is the work of General Manager Howie Roseman.

He has revamped this roster into the best in the NFL.

They have pro bowlers all over the field and have a young core of players in place.

Dan Orlovsky thinks it would be a major disappointment if the Eagles do not become a dynasty.

Orlovsky mentions how good of a job Roseman has done.

But, also how having a quarterback on a rookie contract is crucial.

Not having to pay Jalen Hurts anything is a big reason why the rest of the Eagles’ roster is so good.

But, he could be set up for a monster contract extension this offseason.

If he wins the upcoming Super Bowl, he could even command close to $50 million per year.

It will be interesting to see what the Eagles decide to do with Hurts.

He has not proven to be an elite passer but his rushing ability is a massive part of their offense.

Also, as we have seen in years past, running quarterbacks tend to get injured often.

Hurts already missed two games this past year and more injuries could be coming if he continues to run.

So this offseason will be critical to how the Eagles approach future years.

Hurts will want a massive contract, but not paying him and finding a new rookie quarterback might be the play.
