Once the New York Jets finally get their hands on superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers when the blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers is finalized, the storied NFL franchise will officially be a team to watch during the offseason into the 2023 campaign.
Along with potentially being the next NFL team showcased on HBO’s Hard Knocks, the Jets have some intriguing storylines this offseason as the team tries to build a championship roster for head coach Robert Saleh.
As of right now, the Jets have one of the most talented defensive tackles in the game, with Quinnen Williams leading the charge on the defensive line, but after this upcoming season, he’ll come with a hefty price tag.
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, he believes Williams will be seeking $23-25 million per year.

The Jets will need to do everything within their power to keep Williams in New York and will apparently have to break the bank to do so, but with this team potentially being a Super Bowl title contender, it’ll be worth it.
The 25-year-old defensive tackle is coming off his best season yet in the NFL, in which he earned All-Pro honors for the first time.
Williams took his game to another level entirely during the 2022 campaign for the Jets, recording a career-high 12.0 sacks to go along with two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
The Alabama product is well on his way to being one of the league’s elite defenders and will be tested during the 2023 NFL season as he needs to prove that last season was no fluke to earn the contract he desires.
