Many aspects of the Philadelphia Eagles made them one of the NFL’s best teams in 2022.
Their defense was spectacular, leading the league in sacks and pressure rate.
Their offense, led by an emerging Jalen Hurts, was efficient and high-powered and was one of the highest-scoring teams as a result.
One of the main reasons for their offensive success was their offensive line.
The Eagles offensive line has many talented players but is primarily led by Lane Johnson.
Lane Johnson did not allow a single QB hit on 614 pass-blocking snaps this year

Johnson was named the ninth-best offensive player by PFF in 2022.
In NFL media, skill position players are typically a focal point of conversation.
Wide receivers, running backs, tight ends, and quarterbacks are the players with the most statistical categories and are typically how a team is measured on offense.
However, their success cannot happen without an offensive line, and Johnson happens to be one of the league’s best linemen.
He didn’t allow a single sack or quarterback hit last season.
Johnson’s dominant play was a major reason for Hurts’ success, as he was an MVP candidate on the season.
Johnson was named a first-team All-Pro member this season, the second time in his career that he has been given this distinction.
With players like Johnson and Jason Kelce on their offensive line, the Eagles will look to contend for the NFC’s top spot again in 2022.
Hurts should only improve next season, given the extra time he will have to garner rapport with his offensive weapons.
The NFC is the weaker of the two conferences, paving the way for another dominant Eagles season.
