One team in the NFL that will be under the microscope throughout the entire 2023 NFL season is the New York Jets, with the storied franchise bringing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers to lead the charge.
With Rodgers leading the way, New York will have their fair share of primetime games and will almost certainly steal headlines on a daily basis, with everyone wanting to know what’s going on in the Big Apple.
Unfortunately for the Jets, if it goes wrong with Rodgers under center next season, the team will make even more headlines and will be in a regrettable situation and a punchline in the NFL.
That comes with the territory of playing in the biggest market in professional sports and having a legitimate superstar with an incredible resume as your quarterback, and former Jets star Keyshawn Johnson knows this all too well via NFL on ESPN.
“When you have potentially the best QB in the history of New York football, whether it’s the Giants or the Jets, … and they’re not producing … it can be real problems … for you if you’re Nathaniel Hackett.”

Even though the team has improved considerably from last season to now with the addition of Rodgers and some of his old colleagues like Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Nathanial Hackett, the pressure will be palpable in New York from now until the team actually wins something with this new-look squad.
Although Rodgers has an impressive resume with a Super Bowl title and four NFL MVPs, it remains to be seen whether he’s got enough left in the tank to lead this unproven squad to victory in a highly competitive AFC East division and a stacked conference.
All the Jets can hope for are no off-the-field issues and an elite Rodgers to help this team live up to expectations in 2023.
