The Chicago Bears started the 2023 offseason with one of the most significant trades in recent memory.
With the Carolina Panthers as their trade partner, they dealt away the first overall pick, acquiring four draft picks in the process.
While these picks were extensively detailed, the acquisition of DJ Moore, a receiver for Justin Fields, was lost in the shuffle.
Moore is a five-year NFL veteran, and will now have an opportunity to work with an emerging quarterback talent.
When asked about his chemistry with Moore, Fields responded, “It did come on quickly,” per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.
Following the best day of practice for the Bears offense on the final day of minicamp, it’s evident the Justin Fields and DJ Moore are on schedule when it comes to establishing their chemistry.

During the offseason, the Bears have been one of the most active teams across the league.
They’ve added players on both sides of the ball and will look to compete for the top spot in the NFC North.
One of the critics of the Bears’ roster last season was a lack of receiving help for Fields.
He has Moore at his disposal, and the team has also added Robert Tonyan, a tight end that Aaron Rodgers frequently relied on.
These two players, paired with a healthy Darnell Mooney, could result in a much-improved unit.
When a team like the Bears is coming off a 3-14 record, it can be difficult to find hope in the upcoming season.
However, the Bears have chosen to be overly positive, especially due to the pieces they have recently added.
Fields took a step forward in 2022, but the team is looking for another jump from him.
Will he be able to deliver?
