The Buffalo Bills have quite a few problems on their hands.
Until Stefon Diggs returns full-time to his building, his reception room lacks a true number one, leaving room for others to get more exposure.
This seems to be the case with Trent Sherfield, who Josh Allen has praised a lot.
In a recent conversation with ESPN, Allen called Sherfield “one of the hardest-working guys on the team.”

Sherfield is a five-year NFL veteran who has spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers and most recently the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins’ receiving depth chart is very heavy, with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle commanding a large chunk of the targets.
This left little room for Sherfield to have a prominent place on the Dolphins, getting just 51 goals.
He made the most of his goals, with 30 receptions for 417 yards and two touchdowns.
Sherfield could find himself in a favorable position with the Bills, especially if Diggs continues to be absent from team activities.
He ran a 4.45 40-yard dash on his Pro Day in 2018, so he has the speed to evade defenders, which is a positive aspect of his game.
Will Allen be able to field him in this offense?
The Bills used significant draft capital to acquire another offensive player, trading for tight end Dalton Kincaid.
Kincaid could be the first or second choice for Allen, but if he continues to be successful, Sherfield could compete for the third spot on the target list.
