For the last few years, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes has been considered by many to be the best quarterback in the NFL.

It is no wonder why, as he has four Pro Bowl nods, one All-Pro First Team selection, one league MVP and one Super Bowl championship to his name in just six seasons.

So far this year, he’s leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns, and despite the loss of Tyreek Hill, his Chiefs have the best record in the AFC at 9-2.

Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals’ terrific young quarterback, is hoping to get to Mahomes’ level, and he gave Mahomes some high praise.

Mahomes Is One Of A Kind

It’s one thing to be the best QB in the game, but it’s another to be truly unique.

Mahomes has become a singular figure thanks to his ability to make magic happen in third-down situations and on passes that are not fundamentally correct.

He has given the fans of many opposing teams headaches and heartaches by dealing out clutch passes that are like daggers in the heart for them.

Behind Mahomes’ production, Kansas City ranks first in points scored, first downs, passing yards, passing touchdowns and total yards, which is all the more impressive considering how vital Hill was to its offense prior to this season.

It would be a stretch to say the team doesn’t miss Hill, but it has done just fine without him.

The Chiefs’ defense and running game could use a boost, but right now one cannot go wrong with picking them to return to the Super Bowl.

With no one standing out in the NFC as a juggernaut, Mahomes and company could end up hoisting another Vince Lombardi Trophy in a couple of months.
