Good teams are always looking for ways to improve, and the New York Jets are a great team right now.
That’s why it’s not a huge surprise to see that they’ve been tied with a possible move from Dalvin Cook, who was recently released by the Minnesota Vikings.
Even so, the Jets are already prepared for the future with star RB Breece Hall at the helm, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t enough touches available in their new offense.
That’s why Jets TE Tyler Conklin made it clear and loud that the team would welcome Cook with open arms, citing that they want to make room for anyone who can help them win a Super Bowl:
There is a lot of space. We have room for whoever wants to come help us win a Super Bowl,” Conklin said, via NFL.com. “Dalvin and I were basically locker room partners my first two years (in Minnesota), and he was an amazing guy. I reached out to him because I was curious, are the rumors true? Is this really possible?”

That’s the kind of aggressive team-first mentality that has paid off multiple times in the past, and the Jets should definitely make the most of this title window while it’s still open.
Cook has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but he’s also been one of the most dominant and explosive running backs in the game when healthy.
Having him back Hall would give the Jets a fancy insurance policy and one of the most disruptive RB tandems in the game, and he shouldn’t command a hefty payday at this point in his career.
Of course, they’ll have to compete with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins, who have also been tied with a potential move for Cook, but the Jets could still give him a better shot at a championship.
