Pittsburgh Steelers fans are calling for their team to fire offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

With the team’s offense ranking in the bottom 25, it’s clear the Steelers need to make changes.

However, does replacing Canada give the Steelers the answers they need on offense?

A deeper look gives fans the answers they need regarding Canada.

Steelers Might Have An Issue Letting Mike Tomlin Pick Canada’s Replacement

With fans wanting someone new as their offensive coordinator, the team will need a replacement.

However, getting that replacement might not come from head coach Mike Tomlin, who got Canada his job with the Steelers.

With his issues getting solid offensive minded coaches, it’s clear upper management will need to step in.

While they can, it’s about them being willing to step in, as the team is 2-6 this season.

If they want a high value draft pick for 2023, they might keep Canada and let the season play out.

However, if they believe they can turn this season around with Kenny Pickett as their QB, firing Canada is a step in the right direction.

Should The Steelers Wait To Fire Canada?

With the Steelers offense looking horrible, the writing on the wall shows Canada’s days are numbered.

However, should the team fire him now or after the season is over?

With nine games remaining for the Steelers, they need to run the gauntlet to hope for a playoff spot.

If they feel like they can’t, it’s best to let the season play out with Canada.

While fans might not like this, they will get their way by the end of the NFL season.
