Several intriguing quarterback prospects are looking to be drafted in April.
Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson have been highly regarded, and often cited as the top-four prospects.
The NFL combine can be a place for some players to improve their draft stock, especially if they are on the cusp of being a first-round pick.
One quarterback prospect, however, has been elected to not participate in the combine at all.
Hendon Hooker will not throw in Indy during the Scouting Combine, sources tell @theScore.
One of the top-rated QBs in the draft, Hooker is ahead of schedule recovery wise coming off a torn ACL – he had surgery Dec. 13. Hooker earned SEC OPOY with 32 total TDs and just 2 INTs.

Hendon Hooker is reported to not be in attendance for this year’s combine.
Hooker was the quarterback for the University of Tennessee last season, racking up 32 total touchdowns, and threw just two interceptions.
While he has been highly regarded as a potential first-rounder, Hooker tore his ACL last season.
ACL tears aren’t necessarily what they used to be, especially considering new developments with surgery and the rehabilitation process.
Hooker had surgery in mid-December but is allegedly ahead of schedule in his recovery.
With any luck, he will be able to showcase his skills outside of the combine, giving teams faith that he will be a good fit for their organization.
Many quarterback-needy teams are heading into the draft.
While Hooker might be seen as the fifth or sixth-best prospect, that might be enough for a team to use early-round capital on him.
The NFL draft is two months away.
Will Hooker be able to do enough in that timeframe to convince teams that he is worth drafting in the early rounds?
This will certainly be a situation to monitor moving forward.
