The New England Patriots are reportedly having second thoughts about Mac Jones.
So, even though they might not have the chance to find a replacement with the No. 14 pick, they still need to prepare for every scenario.
With that in mind, they hosted Kentucky standout QB Will Levis for a top-30 visit, according to Ian Rapoport.

Levis has drawn mixed reviews throughout the entire process, with some comparing him to Josh Allen and others not so fond of his decision-making.
His numbers in college were far from impressive, but it’s not like he had a lot to work with, so the jury is still out on him.
From a physical standpoint, Levis would be a big upgrade over Jones.
He’s bigger, stronger with more arm strength, and quicker.
From a football IQ standpoint, it remains to be seen, and some scouts have their doubts about it.
Jones looked like the Patriots’ franchise cornerstone for years to come in his rookie season, but he regressed vastly in his sophomore year.
The Patriots should look better offensively in 2023, with new OC Bill O’Brien calling the plays.
However, Belichick recently opened the door for some QB competition by stating that every player would get a chance to play, even backup quarterback Bailey Zappe.
So, if Levis winds up slipping for whatever reason and the Pats are on the clock, they could try and bring in some more competition to try and see what Jones is made of or flat-out give up on him.
