The Baltimore Ravens released a good player and fan favorite this offseason.
Defensive tackle Calais Campbell was let go by the Ravens, and he has found a new home.
Campbell signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, and he left a heartfelt message to Ravens fans upon his departure.
According to Jamison Hensley, Campbell mentioned how he had a “great time” chasing a championship in Baltimore.
Calais Campbell, who officially joined the Falcons on Friday, said goodbye to Baltimore after three seasons with the Ravens.
“Although we didn’t get to hoist the Lombardi (Trophy), we sure did have a great time chasing it,” Campbell posted on Instagram. pic.twitter.com/P7muiAUOSG

Campbell played three seasons with the Ravens, where he started 40 of the 41 games.
In those years he has recorded 11 sacks and 113 total tackles.
The six-time Pro Bowler will be 37 years old at the beginning of the next season.
While he may not have much left in the tank, Campbell can still be a good leader.
He signed a one-year deal with the Falcons, which is more than likely where he plans to finish his career.
Even though Campbell has never won a Super Bowl, he was an integral part of some good teams in Arizona.
Joining the Falcons is not much of a win-now move for Campbell, so he must be content with not chasing a Super Bowl.
Atlanta is still looking for a franchise quarterback, and until they find one they will not compete.
Campbell has been a good player for 15 NFL seasons, and he is one sack shy of 100 for his career.
He should be able to reach that milestone early into the next season.
