Bill Belichick turned the New England Patriots into a perennial contender.
Of course, having the greatest quarterback of all time on your team also helps, but Belichick’s defensive mastermind and situational football expertise also played a huge part in that.
However, as great and successful as the legendary head coach is, he’s not the most easy-going guy or someone who’s easy to deal with at times.
That’s why former Patriots star Logan Ryan wanted to share his experience playing for Belichick, and he actually claimed it was quite positive, as seen on Good Morning Football.

Ryan won a couple of rings with the Patriots, so it’s natural to think he embraces Belichick’s tough-love approach.
He’s always been a pragmatic coach who’ll do whatever it takes to win, even if that may rub some of his players the wrong way.
The word around the league was that Brady grew apart from him because Belichick mistreated him, or at least didn’t show him the respect he thought he had earned after so many Super Bowl wins and years together.
Belichick even reportedly tried to trade Brady to the San Francisco 49ers to give the nod to Jimmy Garoppolo, which obviously infuriated the legendary quarterback even more.
Then again, Belichick’s résumé speaks for itself, so his methods shouldn’t be put into question at this point anymore.
Six Super Bowl rings as a head coach and two more as a defensive coordinator make us think that he might as well know a thing or two about football.
