So now it is up to the Packers and Jets to decide fair compensation in a trade.
On ESPN First Take, former NFL tight end Vernon Davis was asked what he would give up for Rodgers.
Davis said he would trade anything necessary to land the future Hall of Famer.

The Jets are at the point of no return in the Rodgers sweepstakes.
They have pushed all their chips to the middle of the table to land him.
Anything short of actually acquiring him would be a major disappointment.
Rodgers would not make the Jets the favorites in the AFC, but he would put them in contention.
New York has a very good roster in place, but they have been held up by bad quarterback play.
If Rodgers can stay healthy for the full season, there is no reason to believe the Jets can contend for the AFC East title.
It will be very interesting to see if a deal goes through, and how much the Jets will have to give up.
