Sunday saw the New York Jets and Zach Wilson have a meltdown, leading them to lose to the New England Patriots.
Wilson’s three-interception game gave fans plenty to be angry about.
However, this wasn’t the only thing fans had a reaction over, as he had an odd game.
So what are fans saying about Wilson’s Sunday performance?

Fans had no mercy for the young QB.
Ian Hartitz compares Wilson to Super Bowl champion QB Patrick Mahomes, if Mahomes were only black out drunk while playing.
Zach Wilson is like if Patrick Mahomes played every game black out drunk

But it was an NFL reporter for the Jets who pulled no punches about his team’s QB and his performance.
There’s no point in sugarcoating this anymore: The #Jets are a playoff team being held back by their quarterback.
Until that changes, this season won’t amount to anything.
Zach Wilson must be better. Period.

However, Connor Hughes saw these mistakes by Wilson the entire game, and let people know about it.
What an absolutely horrendous throw from Zach Wilson. Horrible.
He had Denzel Mims wide open — he was waving his hand and everything.
Instead, Wilson just casually tosses one toward the sideline and it’s picked off.
That’s mind-numbing bad.

With Wilson looking horrible, it kills the Jets’ chances of becoming that playoff team Hughes sees them as in 2022.
While Wilson had great numbers with passing yards (355) and touchdowns (2), the rest of the numbers were disappointing.
His 20-for-41 game and three interceptions had the Patriots defense feasting off him.
While the game might be a bump in the road for him, people aren’t showing mercy.
The Jets fanbase has gone too long without a playoff appearance.
This leads them to going so hard after their franchise QB during an otherwise promising season.
