Just a couple of months ago, fans, coaches, media members, and even some of his own colleagues feared for the Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin.
Hamlin collapsed on the field early in the first quarter of a highly-anticipated regular-season matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
He was rushed to the hospital, and the game was suspended.
And even though he was eventually discharged and out of danger, it became unclear whether he was ever going to be able to play again.
#Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been fully cleared by his specialists to resume football activities, per GM Brandon Beane. He’s with the team today.

Per the GM, every single doctor has agreed that Hamlin is completely out of danger and ready to be back on the gridiron.
He’ll resume full football activities just like every other member of the team, with the GM citing that he’s in a great place mentally and eager to be back with his team.
Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on the field and had to clear several hurdles before getting back to this point.
Countless fans and colleagues donated thousands of dollars to his foundation in the wake of this gruesome incident, with people rallying in support and keeping him and his family in their thoughts and prayers.
He’ll have several months to get back to full strength and game shape before the start of the season, and you better believe his No. 3 jersey will be one of the most popular in the league for years to come.
