The Washington Commanders have been a disaster from the top down for a while now.
A large part of the problem is their owner, Dan Snyder.
His team has been under investigation for misconduct, and it seems like a foregone conclusion he would be forced to sell his team.
Well, it seems like we are getting closer and closer to that time.
There has been an offer made to Snyder to sell the team.
According to Adam Schefter, the group looking to buy is led by Josh Harris/Mitchell Rales and includes Magic Johnson.
Also, their offer is for $6 billion which is right at Snyder’s asking price.

This was the first big step in Snyder finally selling the team.
Many Commanders fans have wanted to see him go for a while now, and it is only a matter of time.

If the deal does go down, you can expect many changes to the organization.
It might come in the form of the roster, coaching, or even facility changes, but moves will need to be made.

One part of the ownership group that is intriguing is Magic Johnson.
Since retiring as an NBA player, he has invested in many different sports teams.
He was a part of the Lakers’ front office for a while and he is also part-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

If the deal is accepted, this is the first time we would see Johnson as part of an NFL team.
Also, many Commanders fans hope that the new ownership group will address their ongoing quarterback struggles.
One player that is available to acquire is Lamar Jackson, but he seems like a long shot for the Commanders.
