Over the years, many retired NFL players have pursued careers in the booth.
Some of them have been quite successful, and others not so much.
In particular, Houston Texans legend JJ Watt has now joined the long line of former stars turned color commentators and analysts.
True to form, Watt took to Twitter to break the news in a comedic way, receiving plenty of positive feedback and reaction.

This isn’t much of a surprise, though, considering Watt has been a fan favorite among most fan bases almost since he entered the league.
In addition to being one of the most dominant and talented pass rushers in the history of the game, the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year is also a beloved and respected member of the sports community for his charitable work, leadership, and easy-going nature. .
Watt will now be part of CBS Sports’ coverage for the upcoming season, and while he once claimed he would never do something like that, he later admitted he would miss the game too much if he didn’t. be close to the field
It’s been an eventful couple of weeks for the legendary player as he was recently notified that the Texans intend to induct him into their Ring of Honor, which is hardly surprising.
Watt will have a hard time matching his off-field resume to what he had, but he’ll definitely try.
